In 1902, King Oscar tasted the sardines of a small Norwegian canning company for the first time. He was impressed. So impressed that he offered the company his most valuable possession: his name. From that moment on, we wore King Oscar’s title with pride. Over 100 years later, that same small canning company now sells products all over the world, staying true to what the king first saw in us: quality, provenance and craft.
